Your 1st Driving Lesson
On your first lesson you will learn some basic safety checks and the controls of the car. You will also learn to move off and stop the car safely.
Please bring your valid provisional licence. (both the plastic part and the paper counterpart) Also, if you need corrective lenses (glasses or contacts) in order to read a number plate at the requisite distance, please remember to bring these with you.
An Appointment / Progress Report card will be given to you. This lists the key driving skills required to learn and enables you to keep track of progress.
Lesson Times
The length of each lesson will be arranged individually to suit each student.
Lessons of 1½ or 2 hours are considered to be of most benefit, providing the best value in terms of progress made.
Mock Tests
These are carried out as you are approaching test readiness and students find them very worthwhile.
Provides some experience of how the practical test will be performed and highlights areas in need of further development.
